International scientific workshop "AGRICULTURAL MARKETS AND TRADE: EVIDENCE AND PERSPECTIVE OF V4 REGION AND ITS NEIGHBOUR - UKRAINE" invites the experts from V4 and other countries to deliver experiences, expert opinions on very actual topics related to agricultural markets and trade in processes of transformation and European integration. This will enable to strengthen and make very useful the academic and professional links of participating countries with Ukraine.

The main issues to be covered in the workshop are recent development in the following areas:
- Agricultural markets and trade:
- Evidence of V4 regions
- Evidence of other European countries
- Agricultural markets, trade and CAP
- Agricultural markets and trade in Ukraine: Ongoing processes of transformation
- National and European prospects for agricultural markets
- Perspectives for Development of Agricultural Markets and Trade in Ukraine
- From farm to fork: Selected Issues on Marketing Chains and Agrarian Marketing
- Agrarian marketing at national and international level
- Agro-food firm internationalization
- Food quality and safety
The experts are motivated to submit the paper related to the workshop topic that will be published in the CD proceeding. Selected papers will be published in the monography book ""AGRICULTURAL MARKETS AND TRADE: EVIDENCE AND PERSPECTIVE OF V4 REGION AND ITS NEIGHBOUR - UKRAINE" and scientific journal ACTA OECONOMICa ET INFORMATICA.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Participants who intend to submit the paper or presentation proposal are requested to send an abstract of not more than 1000 words in English by March, 10, 2008 per email to Elena Horska. Authors will be notified by March, 31, 2008. Full papers are due by June 2, 2008
- Together with submitted paper there is required to send the information on research project resulted in the submitted paper
- Deadline for registration is April, 15, 2008. Registration fee is 100 EUR. Information on registration and other practical information for the workshop participants will be available in March 2008 (workshop programme, accommodation, lunches and dinners)
